The Process

This story was my first attempt to use AI to tell a story with consistent characters. It was laborious and time consuming. I think the result is charming but amateur.  However,  I learned a great deal through the process.  I used the "Cartoonize Yourself" GPT to create the base characters for Adrian and Tibago, based on photographs provided. I then used the "Consistent Characters" GPT to create the different poses and expressions that the characters needed to adopt to illustrate the story.

I created the backgrounds for the story using DALL-E  and then edited the images in Canva. Finally I put the video together in Premier Pro using narration from ElevenLabs and music and sound effects from Pixabay.

This is just the beginning of my creative journey with AI assisted story telling and content creation. I have a lot to learn and I am looking forward to the journey!

The Story

This story is the beginning of the telling of the love story between my husband, Adrian and his dog Tibago. We already had 4 dogs when we found Tibago as a starving puppy on the side of the road on our way home from work one day.

I frequently pick up strays and try to find the owner or take them to a shelter. This was the plan with Tibago as we already had 4 dogs of our own. This plan lasted all of 5 minutes. As soon as I had him in the car Adrian and the pup locked eyes and he instantly said: "His name is Tibago". I asked: "How did you know". He replied matter of factly: "He told me." In that moment the feral pup became tame.

As students of the fox in The Little Prince are well aware, when you tame something you become responsible for it forever. . . 

So naturally Tibago stayed. Watch the first chapter of his story here:
